Clean UTM parameters before the graveyard wins

LinkedIn vs linkedin. Q3 Launch vs q3-launch. Double-encoded spaces, click-ID junk bolted on. Campaign reporting fractures until the list is governed.

The problem

Marketers accumulate URL graveyards: inconsistent utm_source / utm_medium / utm_campaign, encoding noise, and tracking params that don’t belong in the taxonomy. Spreadsheets don’t normalize. Waiting on eng doesn’t scale.

You need a pass that lowercases and collapses UTM values, flags near-duplicate campaigns, previews rewrite rules, strips known junk while keeping utm_*, and exports a list you can run.

How Utmend helps

Utmend is a browser-local UTM / campaign URL cleaner. Paste or drop a URL list, normalize source·medium·campaign combos, preview ordered find→replace rules, strip tracking junk, and export cleaned URLs plus a summary table — without uploading the graveyard to a SaaS.

01

Paste or drop

One URL per line, or a.txt/.csv. Sample graveyard included.

02

Normalize + cluster

Lower source/medium, decode, collapse whitespace, flag near-dup campaigns.

03

Rewrite + export

Preview rewrites, strip click-ID junk, download a list you can govern.

Private by default. Cleanup runs client-side — URLs stay in the browser. Anonymous pageviews only (no URL payloads).
